Got some interesting results already on Day 1.
Here we go.
I started my routine as usual – drink a glass of protein shake and then give my muscles hell (today I was doing back and chest).
If you’re curious, here’s what the Maximum Shred and Xtreme Antler bottles look like.
Anyhow. I took 3 capsules with my shake.
One of the claims Maximum Shred makes is that it increases blood flow (similar to the claims of NO supplements).
I’m not sure how to scientifically verify this, but on my second set of bench presses, I did feel way more energy – and that nice ripped look you get after a workout seemed more pronounced (Just need to get it to stay there now). So far so good.
By the way – my max bench press is 245 pounds. We’ll see how much higher this goes during the test.
Anyhow, after about 40 minutes I was done my workout. And I did feel a bit more energy. Usually I’m dog ass tired…but I felt like I could still pound out a few more reps if need be.
I took the Xtreme Antler spray next. It claims to increase growth hormone (which improves repair and recovery time).
Sidenote: some quick research showed me that in China, this product is very popular as healing remedy and has been used for over 2,000 years.
Anyhow, I gave it a squirt under the tongue five times as directed (it didn’t taste too bad!)…now to play the waiting game.
